This is a detailed account of the scientific instrument trade, in London, in the second half of the eighteenth century. The book also has a chapter on Ramsden's successors - Matthew Berge, James Allen and Nathaniel Worthington. A very good copy (corners lightly bumped) with good dust jacket. (Ref: K4716 - X2)
