The sector is 14 inches long and made of patinated brass. The pinion sizing section of the scale is graduated 6,7,8,10, 12, 14, 16; the wheel sizing scale is graduated from 20 to 110 at one unit intervals.

A scientific barometer on the Fortin principle signed on the silvered scale J.B. Dancer, Optician, Manchester No. 282.
The instrument has a black painted tube with a thermometer mounted on the front.
The barometer scale reads from 27 to 32.5 inches of mercury, the thermometer scale from 25 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit.

| Mahogany Card Table c1785
A George III serpentine fronted, mahogany and mahogany veneered card table with mahogany crossbanding, and ebony and boxwood stringing to the top and frieze.
The folding top stands on tapering and moulded mahogany legs with inlaid oval decoration to the top, the rear legs swing out to support the top when open.
