This well illustrated book is a comprehensive survey of the pendulum regulator, from Graham's invention of the mercury pendulum until the adoption of the atomic clock for standard time. Evans (G.): Time, Time and Time Again - Activities, Technology, and People NEW. 227 pages, 18 plates, 2008. The author trained at The National College of Horology became the Chief Design Engineer at the Anglo-Celtic Watch Company, National secretary of the BHI and Secretary General of the British Horological Federation. Evans (J.H.): Ornamental Turning O/P. Volumes 1 only of 3 volumes. 165 pages, 120 figures, 3 plates, 1903. The book's sub title A Work of Practical Instruction on the above Art suggests that this is a book for any turner who wants to improve his skills in ornamental turning.
