O/P. 31 pages, no date. A tools and materials wholesale price list including prices for watch repairs - e.g. new balance staffs from 5 shillings. The list includes the following statement: "Do not send cheap pin pallet or American Clocks, or cheap pin pallet Watches for repair. They are not worth doing" . Blakiston & Co. were based in Ainsdale, near Southport and the booklet dates from the 1930's. Rare. Card covers worn and creased. (Ref: K3222 - BX16)

O/P. 8 pages, issued January 1972. A small booklet issued to members of the guild - servicing a pocket watch was priced at £2.00 and servicing an English dial clock priced from £5.00. No wonder there were no apprentices taking up the craft!! Card covers, now a little worn. (Ref: K1067 - BX2)

Creese (H. & Co.): The Electro-Gravity Clock Wheel
O/P. 16 pages, figs., no date. A small sales brochure advertising H. Creese & Co.'s patented method of using an electro-gravity clock wheel to drive existing clocks instead of weights or a spring. As the brochure states Why buy electric clocks when you can have your own electrified at a very small cost. The UK patent is dated 1909 so this brochure must date from the 1910's. Good copy, one page torn and repaired, paper covers now worn. (Ref: K4753 - BX10)
